About The Almanac

Established in 2017, The Lighthouse Almanac is a peer-reviewed journal of the Benjamin Banneker Association, Inc. (BBA). The aim of the journal is to share the latest research, practice, and collective actions of individuals committed to high-quality mathematics education for learners who are Black or of African ancestry. Our audience and contributors include PK-16 educators and administrators, college/university faculty, parents, community leaders and organizers.

Past editions of the journal are free to public. Current versions of the journal are made freely available to members in the BBA Member's Only section of our website.
